Application of insulation material in thermal control system of altitude optical sensor

摘要In order to reduce the heat exchange between internal optical-mechanical structure and external environment and create favorable conditions for active thermal control, the insulation material applied to inner side of temperature control assembly was studied. Firstly, according to the thermal control requirements of altitude optical sensor, the characteristics of insulation material was analyzed. Then, based on principles of heat transfer, the relation between thermal resistance and the material thickness was analyzed, and the thickness of the insulation material is 9.5mm with the requirement of weight. Finally, the thermal simulation analysis of altitude optical sensor was carried out. The results show that: the temperature of inner side of temperature control assembly which wrapping the insulation material dropped slower than the case without insulation material, and two hours later the temperature of inner side of temperature control assembly had increased 20.9C, and the temperature of internal optical-mechanical structure had increased 4.5C.
