摘要 | Oxygen plasma technology was applied to obtain the hydrophilic poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) surface. The effects of treatment time, power and oxygen flow in oxygen plasma on POMS surface hydrophilicity have been tested. Contact angle measurements and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to estimate the effect and stability of the modified surfaces. Experiments show that the contact angle is 72 degrees after ageing 700 hours by oxygen plasma treatment, and XPS indicates that the improvement of surface hydrophilicity mainly due to the increase of the polar component of the surface. The mechanism of the PDMS surface modification was discussed. |
