Structure optimization design of large field of view optical lens for the space TOF camera

摘要The small space time-of-flight(TOF) camera mounted on a certain aerospace device needs to perform imaging in a wide temperature operating range and the complex dynamic environment. To achieve better images, an optimized design of the large-field optical lens of the space TOF camera is carried out. First, according to the lens design index requirements, the optical system is designed and analyzed by using the near-telecentric optical path. Then, by comparing the material properties, the cast titanium alloy (ZTC4) is selected as the lens support structure material. The processing technic of the lens holder is discussed before and after processing. Thirdly, the lens barrel (wall thickness) which is one of the key components of the lens is optimized by using the finite element parametric optimization method and the adaptive response surface optimization algorithm. After the optimization, the quality of the lens barrel is reduced from 75 g to 51.2 g, and the weight loss rate reaches 31.7%. Finally, the overload adaptability analysis, temperature adaptability analysis and modal analysis are implemented for the entire camera. Related test experiments are carried out. The analysis and test results show that all the optomechanical structures and performances of this space TOF camera meet the design index requirements. 2020, Science Press. All right reserved.
