A full channel and high-reliability quick-look system for TDICCD space camera with large field of view

摘要A full-channel and high-reliability quick-look system suitable for large field TDICCD space camera is proposed. Firstly, a TDICCD remote sensing image scrolling display model is established and a hardware-based real-time scrolling display method with row frequency adaption function is presented according to the theory that scrolling display can effectively simulate the pushing progress of TDICCD cameras linear array output. Then, to overcome the unreliable problem of high speed image data cache, a (16,16) error correction coding algorithm which is easy for hardware implementation is proposed and its principal as well as its algorithmic thought is explained. Finally, the proposed system is tested on a large field TDICCD space camera prototype. Experimental results show that its adaptive row frequency range is 0.52-7.68 kHz. Meanwhile, it can realize the scrolling mosaic display and thumbnail display for all 80 channels and 12 quantized images with a total data transfer rate up to 13.02 Gbit/s. Also, the proposed system has strong ability of image detail performance. SRAM cache applied with (16,16) error correction coding algorithm is able to correct 82 bit errors in 1 024 byte, which improves the image cache reliability. Overall, the system is stable and reliable with strong portability, and has been successfully used to develop and test the large field TDICCD space camera. , 2015, Board of Optronics Lasers.
