摘要	Compared with a cubic prism, a plane-parallel plate (PPP) used for splitting rays has advantages on its weight and cost. But the PPP in convergent rays will bring a large amount of aberrations, so it cannot satisfy high-quality imaging requirements. According to the developing demand for a high-speed, multiframe camera, in order to use a tilted PPP for splitting rays, aberration correction of PPPs in convergent rays is researched in this paper. After reviewing the existent correction methods and their problems, a novel method to correct the polychromatic aberrations of the tilted PPP by a single unsymmetrical element is proposed. Based on the mathematic modeling, the initial configuration of the corrector is given. A F/4.5 system involving a 45 degrees tilted PPP is optimized as an example. Using the proposed method, its image quality can satisfy the requirements well. Moreover, a new design of the high-speed, multiframe camera is also given. (C) 2015 Optical Society of America
