摘要	Spatiotempral chaos (STC) was controlled via phase space compression, by compressing the evolution orbit of the chaotic attractor. Phase space compressions was also employed to obtain global and local control in coupled map lattice (CML) systems in numerical simulators. The different phase space compressions were used to control CML exhibiting STC into various desired stable states.
