摘要	The clomazone as the starting material was synthesized and was further purified through a column chromatography with silica gel as fixed phase and with ethyl acetate/benzinum (boiling point 30degreesC similar to 60 degreesC) at a ratio of one to four as mobile phase( R-f = 0.5). The prepared clomazone was then characterized and identified by elementary analysis, melting point method, ultraviolet, infrared, mass spectrometry, H-1 nuclear magnetic resonance and C-13 nuclear magnetic resonance.
