摘要	Catechin in tea polyphenol was analysed quantitatively by near infrared spectroscopy. The result shows that the absorptive characteristic of those primary fundermentals of catechin can be looked through easily, while, the calibration test was performed quantitatively to measure the content of catechin in the tea polyphenol. Fine precision of the result was obtained in a comparatively very large range of concentration, the root mean square error of calibration is 2.2% and correlation coefficient (r) is 0.9947.
